Yes, our team is fully trained to clean self-cleaning ovens, and our products are specifically designed to cope with all oven types. Self-cleaning ovens can contain self-clean interiors and/or liners. They are designed to burn off debris from general oven use. Unfortunately, many ovens just don’t get hot enough to produce the desired result.
Another issue with such ovens is the build-up hidden behind such panels/liners. We will remove such panels/liners where possible and soaked in our van mounted heated dip tank using our unique soaps. Failure to remove such build up will result in fire risk, especially around the heating element.
Yes. All Ulster Oven Cleaning technicians carry a range of replacement bulbs and filters. We do not carry universal parts such as door seals as found the quality to be poor. If you need a part just ask and we will help source a genuine replacement part, that in most instances is around the same cost as low quality universal parts. If we don’t have what you need on the van, simply ask your technician who will source the parts you are looking for.
Honest answer is it varies depending on usage. What do you cook? and how often? A regular family who prepares daily “traditional” meals generally require deep cleans around every 6 months, to avoid the build up of fat, grease and carbon build up that poses a fire hazard.
People who use their oven less, maybe 3/4 times per week , or cook mainly ready meals, we recommend a yearly clean to maintain the condition and working components of your oven. Oven cleaning will help prolong the life of your cooking appliance and help with its efficiency.
Our Ulster Oven Cleaning technician will give you quality advice about aftercare to help maintain the clean and discuss when repeat visits maybe needed. Our promise to you is that the our professional deep clean means we will get the job done to the highest standard first time.
This depends on the type and size of the job booked. Single oven cleans generally 90-120 mins, Double oven cleans generally around 180mins, Extractor / Hob cleaning requires extra time in addition to oven clean. We would ask for 2 hours to complete single oven clean and 3 hours for a double, other time guides can be provided on request.
You can be rest assured our technicians are fully insured with comprehensive Public Liability Insurance.
Yes, All our technicians are fully checked using the advanced Access NI checks.

You could, although it’s a dirty job so why would you when you can call the experts? On a serious note the results we can achieve with our professional equipment, training and special tried and tested methods will not be anywhere near matched by the products you can buy off the shelf at your local shop.
Most common ‘off the shelf’ cleaning products contain nasty caustic chemicals which are toxic and harmful and not safe to be used around children or family pets. Also don’t forget our skills and expertise are far beyond just cleaning ovens, we also clean all hob types, extractors, AGA, Microwave, BBQs and more. Simply put, it’s a chore, it can be difficult and Ulster Oven Cleaning will give the ultimate professional deep clean for your oven while you sit with the feet up or spend time doing what you would rather do.
We do not sell our bespoke soaps but are more than happy to supply oven liners, cleaning cloths, scoures and sponges.
It seems a common belief that AGA ovens self clean, this is not the case. The nature of an AGA being constant heat an AGA will go some way to carbonising any fats and food spillages that do occur with using the oven, at some point it will need a thorough deep clean. Traditional oven cleaning chemicals such as the commonly shop brought caustic based chemicals should be avoided at all times and they will damage the Enamel surface of the AGA. Ulster Oven Cleaning will clean your AGA using only approved products that are bio-degradable, eco-friendly and safe on all surfaces.
Yes, All original racks, trays are cleaned. Any not original / extra racks and trays require additional charges to be applied.
No, we only use non-caustic, fume free non-toxic products in your home. All products are bio-degradable and eco-friendly with no fumes or odours.
We clean the whole oven, what you can see when you look in plus what you don’t see such as the oven roof and hidden behind rear panel and side liners.
Please note, step one within our cleaning process is to inspect the oven and highlight any potential issues that may hamper the cleaning such as damaged door seal, rusty screws etc. We will not do anything to risk further damaged or anything that maybe detrimental to the oven, and any such concerns will be highlighted and discussed.
Yes, we will where possible remove and split the door to not only clean the glass on outside but also inside the door. Some doors are not possible to be removed and some are separated in situ.
